As the Secondary Education Examination 2023 is nearing, here are a few tips I would like to suggest from my personal experiences.
5 Tips for SEE 2023 Examination in Nepal
The SEE 2023 Examination will start on 31st March 2023, and most students have started revising and doing all sorts of practices.
Here are a few simple but affecting habits you should apply while studying.
1. Create a study schedule
Allocating specific time for each subject will ensure you have enough time and preparation for the exam. To create a study schedule, I suggest you look at the list below.
Exam Schedule: Write down the examination date and time on a calendar. This will help you arrange and allocate time for specific subjects and materials you need to cover.
Allocate Time: Divide your time based on the subjects or chapters you need to revise. Give more time for subjects that you find challenging.
Be realistic: Make sure the amount of time you give to particular subjects is realistic and achievable. Overcommitment can have a negative effect.
You can make adjustments as needed. If you’re falling behind on your schedule or need more time for a specific subject, make adjustments as needed.
2. Review your class notes.
Notes are meant for this: reviewing your class notes and studying what you wrote.
This will help refresh your memory and identify chapters you need more practice.
Searching for answers elsewhere during this stage will only waste time and energy. Reviewing your class notes is a more efficient option, as you have already studied the material, and it will be easier to comprehend.
3. Practice with past exams
Questions for exams are only taken from the chapters, and reviewing the previous examination is one of the best practices.
Taking practice exams can give you an idea of what to expect in the final exam.
4. Get enough sleep
Sleep is essential for a healthy mind and body. Getting enough rest can help improve your memory, concentration, and overall performance.
As stated above, creating a carefully planned study schedule will help you cover all your subjects without losing sleep.
5. Stay organized
A well-organized study area, notes, and materials can help reduce stress and increase efficiency. Ensure you have all the materials and resources you need to study effectively.
A study by the University of California found that refocusing after each interruption takes over 23 minutes.
You do not want to lose focus on minimum stuff after getting into the zone.
