Here is the list of Class “B” Development Banks in Nepal with paid up capital from April 2022.

In Nepal, Development banks can be operated at the district level or national level based on their paid up capital.

According to Nepal rastra bank commercial banks in Nepal should have a minimum capital of around rs 8 Arba to operate nationwide.

While Development banks are divided into 3 types

  • 1 – 3 districts (Npr 500 million)
  • 4 – 10 districts (Npr 1.2 billion)
  • National (Npr 2.5 billion)

Kanchan Development Bank Ltd. has been acquired by NMB Bank and Tinau Mission Development Bank has been merger with Citizen Bank.

Also, you can apply for IPOs through these Development banks like Lumbini, Muktinath, Mahalaxmi, and Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank. Garima Bikas Bank Ltd will not take any C-ASBA Charges in Nepal.
