Cricket Association Nepal, on Monday, announced a 17-man squad that will travel to Pakistan for Nepal’s first-ever Asia Cup, which will be held from 30th August to 17th September 2023.
Rohit Paudal was named captain, and Sandip Lamichhane was also included in the squad.

Nepal will play against Pakistan in the opening match of the tournament, which will get all the attention we need.
This is the biggest cricketing tournament in Asia before the 2023 ICC World Cup, which will be in India.
Sri Lanka is the six-time defending champion in the tournament, and it will be Nepal’s first appearance in the competition.
CAN also said that the team would be undergoing a week-long preparatory camp in Pakistan, where it would be playing matches against PCB-designated teams.
