How to Withdraw Money from Social Security Fund

You can withdraw money from Social Security Fund in Nepal with ease. All you need to do is have your KYC updated and request withdrawal.

Loan service is also available for those continuously contributing to Social Security Fund.

You can withdraw your money from the official website, the process listed below, or the android app. The download link is given above. There is no guide on withdrawing money from android phones (Update soon).

How to Withdraw Money from Social Security Fund in Nepal?

The co-Spokesperson of the organization says that this scheme is not a pension plan but provides income regularity in case the bread earner of the house gets ill or has severe injuries to death.

1. Login to sosys.ssf.gov.np,
2. Open contributor portal,
3. Check KYC update status,
4. Transfer pension fund to Gratuity,
5. Select pension amount, and
6. Upload documents and submit.

1. Log in to sosys.ssf.gov.np

Login to your SSF account using your username, password, and SSID. If this is your first time. Check out out guide on how to Login and Update KYC.

If you do not know your SSID, please contact your employer or the person who created your contribute id.

2. Open contributor portal

All the workers have contributor IDs, so we must log in using that. Check the table below if you want to know how much we contribute or add monthly to the social security fund.

3. Check KYC update status

All the users are requested that if they want to withdraw money from their social security fund, they need to update KYC first and get verified. This process takes no more than 2 to 3 days, and after the withdrawal request, your money will be in your Bank account.

4. Transfer pension fund to Gratuity

A small percentage you and your employer contribute every month is deducted as a pension amount which you will get after 60 years of age. But if you wish to transfer that amount, a few eligible people can request it.

This facility is not available to contributors who have started their first contribution to the fund after the end of Ashad 2078. They can only withdraw the amount accumulated in Gratuity Fund.

5. Select pension amount

Selecting “ALL” will close your account. If you do not wish to close the account, then enter the amount in percentage based.

6. Upload documents and Submit

Documents necessary to submit while withdrawing money from samajik Suraksha Kosh are

1. letter of recommendation,
2. the resignation letter,
3. bank checkbook, and
4. date of retirement.

After this, just click on submit, and they will check and verify your details, and if everything is fine from your end, they will process it within a few days to a week you will receive your requested amount if your Bank Account.
