How to login and Update KYC in Social Security Fund Nepal

SSF, or Social Security Fund, is governed by Social Security Act, 2018 (2075). This act is to protect employees or karmachari in need.

This Act states companies or employers to enlist their employees.

Nepalese working abroad can now start Social Security Fund to secure their future. Starting conditions are currently not clear.

Individuals employed or self-employed overseas may now partake in the program by making a minimum monthly contribution of Rs 2,002.

The contribution amount for Social Security Fund in Nepal is the amount Employer and Employees must deposit monthly to take full advantage of the features of Samajik Suraksha Kosh. You can check the table below for the percentage you need to deposit.

Combining you is your company’s deposit, and you will get 31% of your monthly salary on your SSF account. There are other benefits, such as medical and accident insurance and more.

The main difference between Social Security Fund and Social Security Allowance is that the government provides a social allowance to eligible citizens. The Security fund is deposited on contributions from workers and employers.

If you are login in for the first time and don’t know your password, you need to set your password first. To create a new password for SSF Nepal, follow the steps below.

  • Login page to Social Security Fund: Click Here
  • Click on Reset Password
  • Enter your Username and SSID Number (Both the Same)
  • Click on Recover
  • You’ll receive an email with a password reset link.
  • Click that link and change your Password.
  • You can log in.

How to update KYC in Social Security Fund Nepal

To take full advantage of the features of Samajik Suraksha Kosh, you need to keep your account KYC updated. KYC means “Know Your Customer” here. You need to provide details like Name, Address, and Family Details and Verify your Identification and your Bank Account to receive funds.

The steps to update KYC in the social security fund are as follows

  • Login to your Account
  • Click on KYC
  • Click on Get submission no. (For New Users)
  • Note that the submission number is for future use
  • Upload your passport-size photo
  • Add all details
  • Add Bank account details
  • Add Address
  • Add Documents
  • Add relatives
  • Now, Submit.

You must update KYC in Social Security Fund information according to your provided document; everything should be correct and according to citizenship.

Bank details are essential as this is where you will receive your funds if you withdraw from Social Security Fund in Nepal.
