You can now renew your vehicle’s Bluebook in Nepal but first, you need to register it on TMIS Nepal – tmis.bagamati.gov.np.
TMIS also known as Transport Management Information System lets you link your vehicle with your name online in Transport Office.
This renewal service is currently available in Bagmati Region or Pradesh No. 3 only. Hope this will be extended to other regions soon.
How to Register an account in TMIS Nepal?
To register an account in TMIS Nepal you need to
- Visit tmis.bagamati.gov.np and Click on Naya Darta
- Enter your information and mobile number
- Enter OTP (Sent on Mobile)
- Create new password
- Login and Register Vehicle
Creating and registering your vehicle in TMIS is necessary if you want to renew your Blue Book or Bill Book online in Nepal.
The process to link your vehicle in your name from Transport Management Information System
First of all visit tmis.bagamati.gov.np which is specifically for people of the Bagmati region, if your vehicle is registered in other regions of Nepal you will not be able to register.
You need to click on naya darta which means sign up, and fill in all the information asked such as
- Full Name
- Mobile Number and,
- Birth date (Nepali).
Then, you will get an OTP in your mobile phone, type it and click next. You will be sent to create a new password.
The account creation is finished., now login to your account. And add all the information about your vehicle.
Rules you should know while linking TMIS with your Vehicle
- The vehicle should be registered in your name (bill book)
- If you link someone else’s vehicle in your name then you are liable to punishment.
