How to Open Broker Account in Nepal in 2023?

To Open a brokerage account in Nepal 2023, you must first

  2. Apply for Application
  3. Upload Documents
  4. Verify KYC
  5. Receive your Login Details NEPSE TMS

After this you can buy or sell (Trade) share from Secondary Market, Nepal Stock Exchange, also known as NEPSE in Nepal. This is how you sell your IPOs.

You can apply for a Trading Account online or submit a physical application form. You can register a TMS account from Nepal or abroad, like UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, UK and United States.

This is the final step. Here you need to upload your

  1. PAN Card
  2. Citizenship (both side)
  3. Birth Certificate (Minor)
  4. Recent Photo
  5. KYC form upload

If you do not have a National Identity Card, then you can use your Citizenship.

Confirmation and Submission

And then, click on Next you will redirected to Online Agreement Form page. Download it.

Finishing

After this you will get a confirmation SMS and email with message “Application Submitted for Online Trading Account.” Also, a PDF copy of your application with all the details will be mailed to you.

b. Requirements to Register TMS Account | Documents Needed

The requirement you need to fulfill while registering a brokerage account is that you must not have a existing account with other company.

StockBroker will not accept a DEMAT account linked to another firm.

Documents you Need are:

  • Photograph (Recent)
  • Citizenship Sacn (Both Sides)
  • Selfie with Citizenship (For Verification)
  • Passport (For Nepali Living in Abroad),
  • Digital Sign and
  • Map of your House

You can take pictures of these documents and upload them. Just make sure that the sizes of these images are small.

c. Verifying your KYC (Know Your Customer)

Most of the Trading Account’s KYC can be verified through online. Like the NAASA Securities and Co. Limited fixes, Zoom Meeting with the customer to verfy KYC.

E.g., If you have account at NAASA Securities whose Broker NO. is 58. then you have to go to your browser and type URL: “https://tms58.nepsetms.com.np/.”
